Field Trips

Field trips have returned!

Mesilla Valley Audubon Society is openly considering field trip opportunities for its members and friends after a two-year hiatus due to pandemic conditions.  Judy Wilbur is our new field trip coordinator and is anxious to provide opportunities for all of us.  Most field trips are excursions outside of the local Dona Ana County environs and usually require planning for transportation, meals, and meeting people in other locations.  They are educational and a lot of fun as well.  As new plans develop, they will be described in detail in this "Field Trip" section of the MVAS webpage, as well as documented in the calendar and with emails to everyone on our mailing list.  If you have ideas of your own, or would like to help with planning of MVAS field trips, contact Judy Wilbur via email ( of fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page.
